Exotic Eyes

She led them on their way
Like a scarlet woman of the day
She focused them to go on
Even tough they were worn
Tired to the bone

As they followed her lips
Her perfect mouth
Said so many kind words
The shadows of men
Collected around her
Like stray birds

Gathering for all to see
Her unique beauty
While others were afraid to approach
They held themselves back
Like strapped up horses
Filled with thirst

Washing her feet with water from a jar
Exotic excellence she had come from afar
As the haze filled the downward hills
The men steamed up and did grin
Trying to catch her eyes on them
She just played with these
Testosterone muscle pumped men

Flagging a path
On the dusty shallow walk
She knew she had them in her hand
She knew she did not need to talk
As they watched her leave that very day
Somehow wishing they were with her
Travelling with her on a journey of her display

Artist mind

Rolling his eyes
As colours caught his disguise
He wished that he knew now
What he knew then
But only time would tell

As he sat amongst
The wilted falling flowers
Strangled by over load
He felt their battle
That they have fought
He felt their distraught

He was once like them
Fighting holding on
With his fingers tips
Barely catching all
That was there
He felt his heart burn
Inside his chest cavity

His voice that was once weak
Was now strong and he would speak
He stood in their shadow for long enough
He wanted more from himself
He wanted to shine and be more
Than a empty blanket of some else

He wished for all that he looked on
Was like somewhere that sun shone
His images he painted
On a board of colourless of nothing before
Now it had life so did he
He painted how he felt
He was offering all for those
Who wanted to see

His work in emotion
For all to explore
While other would walk by ignore
Nose in the air
That would soon disappear
He would capture
Their hearts
As soon as that fierce unknown
Would clear

Sitting on the steps
Where it all began
Looking on at the colours
That once covered his disguise
Were emotions so strong
So was warm
He embraced all the loving arms
And well wishes
He had said good bye
To all those old memories
On their tall ships

Pearls of strive

Standing alone
Holding on to something
That was never known
She held her breath
As she jumped in
Below her dept

Water that always
Seemed shallow
Caught her off guard
Something’s in life
You can disregard
She had held her final card

As she ran to her final post
After passing her light to all
Who waited for her
She gave to others
Like no one before

With nothing left
Only a tiny sparkle of dust
Opening up
Was her curse
Tucked away in her chest
Was a secret purse

Flushing all
That was held within
She had led a life of the past
Knowing she would someday win

Let me free
Set me free
She called out
As she ran the race of her life
Her light it shone out

Happiness once again
Filled her face
Applauding from the stands
Gave her fight and flight
To go that extra mile
Everyone was on their feet
Pushing her all the way

Targeting herself to towards the last lap
She was tired worn out
Feeling like she was about to snap
Not wanting to give in
Like all the times before

She pushed herself
Her feet into the ground
The floor
Passing others out
With the line just in sight
Her heart was beating faster
Than light

Rolling in over the finishing line
She exhaled one last breath
She was exhausted
Worn out feeling full of sweat
She had won she knew
The crowd took to their feet
Holding her in their thoughts

She was a winner that day
For the rest of her life
She remembered pushing herself
To be the best that she could be

Freedom of the Street

Dancing along the road
To a tune of her own
She knew she was away
In a world of her own

Not minding all that
That was going on
She was to busy
Reaching for the skies

When dust filled her
Shoe ridden feet
She was excited to
Cover them along the street

Feeling free
Feeling the air
On her feet so bare
Nothing to worry
Free and laughter
Oh so rare

As she made her way along
Others soon followed
And listened to her song
Pick yourself up

Don’t be sad
Be happy for what you have
Feel the good
Not the bad

Own yourself
Cover you in love
Look up at the skies
Pull back your curtains
Not heard of

We all many layers
We do not always show them
Make it your day to day
To show all you have got

Do not hide behind closed doors
Do not cover up who you are
Impress yourself and only you
Just be you

As she gathered up a crowd
That believed this was them
They danced to their own song
And knew that they belonged

Muscle Toned

As she drew his canvass
On her page
She looked him up and down
Drawing in on his muscle toned
Skin that was so fine
So well proportioned so lean

He shadowed his tummy with the light
She noticed something which gave her new eye sight
Looking away shy of him
He looked on amazed by her

As she asked him to turn to the side
Imaging him undressed on the floor
Taking on new life her picture
It did show

His eyes that shone light
Diamonds of the night
His smile that softened
Her heart so wild

As he lifted his robe
Back some more
Then suddenly dropping it to the floor
Eyes in the back of her head
They did go

As he stood there
In all his glory
What happened next
Is another story

Life in Bubble

As a single tree stood inside
A bubble of water
That would not burst
Feeding it leaves within

A single mountain stood in the background
Mirrored by its own image
Wonders on tightly gripped water
As it filled

Shadows of their own
The mountain top
Skill of shape
It once was accompanied by others
Now nothing grew

As it stood still
Small drops of water began to fall
Echoes of a once filled land
That once stood tall

Now emptiness handed down
Starting all over again
Trying to hold on to
What was once then

Holding back until ready
To grow
Fulfilled by now
It put on a show

The bubble did finally burst
It had filled its thirst
As the roots were surely fixed in
And the mountain that protected it
Swallowed enough for him

Now energy had once begun
Trees shoots filled the sea beds head
As tiny rocks formed into one another
Holding on to the mountains mother

Say it When

What is a man
With a rose
A man who is about to propose
A smile that lights up a room

The sweet smell of distinct perfume
The softened smell of scented flowers
The innocent look on his face
As he throws off his manly powers

There they are twelve perfect roses
With tiny tear drops
Sitting perfectly within
He knew her heart he has to win

As he leaves a trail
For her to follow
She swallows a sip of wine
And follows him

There he is
With his heart on his sleeve
She is giggling
A child within

What is going on
He replies back
Will you take this load from me
This load off my back

As he turns
With a sign on it says
Will you marry me
Please oh please

As he is on bended knee
All she can do is laugh
And say
Oh yes of course
I will I will

A happy ending for both of them
A new start too
Happiness is something
Can be so easy to do
Make a life together

Hand in hand
Through the times
Both good and bad
Hard and sad
She never looked back

Neither did he
Cuddling up together
Two rings, two hearts entwined making them
See all there is to see
