so who is your man today

i know who is my favourite to stand

I do not live within the land
that holds this all so dear
i only watch from afar
to hear the clues of despair

People have their voice
the paper they will mark
even after all the talking is done
the running wills will spark

Let the one who is to be there
do the job come what may
make sure you use your vote so well
