Sylvia Plath

You skin so fair
Your sensuality brings a pause
To a carnival of the fair
Moving around the dance floor
You’re a genius of words
Surrounded by a gallant
Proud shy
Sometimes in despair

Strawberries that may seem bitter
Eyes that light up
In the most
Unusual way
Writing out your soundings
Not always aware of your surroundings

Daddy and the yew tree
You’re  morning song plays out
Your poppies in October
Yew are the most talented poet

In breath I take you in
In words I speak of you
In my strawberry fields
I sentiment your talents

Boston’s daughter
Born to be free
Ariel and the bell jar
Look how far you came
Winning Pulitzer’s prize
How I longed to see
The happiness in those
Amazing captivating eyes

Nothing lives for ever
You do
Your words live on
In our hearts
Your readings are strong

Scoffing off
Dusting up the ground
As you leave your prints
Along the pathway

Money has it you will be back
Adventure everywhere
Silence on your back
Not caving in
Not willing to remember the track

Fields are printed
With your presence everywhere
Forging the singular escape
Not trapped in a life
Not caught like the wild
In a snare

As morning breaks
The frosty air calls out your name
Milkman drops off the glass contained substance
Slightly been interrupted by your circumference

Rush now
Calm to the familiar voice
Smiling eyes cry salty tears
Little pet dog
Who is loved
So dear

Seduce

Single handed virtue
Untangle my soul
Take off my disguise
Handle the bold

Strangled wrists
Tied together
Legs feeling the heat
Sweating with pleasure

Dripping exciting escape
Lips tighten the limelight
Capturing the audience
Fulfilling his pleasure

Eyes undress her
Leave her on the floor
Steamed up windows
He wants more

Smiling at him
He is gazing at her
Teasing him in delight
She puts on a show
He can’t take it anymore

Offering her a hand
He turns her into him
Locking lips bodies
Bring the deadly sins

Pieces

Wired to think
Of the obscure
Knowledge doesn't determine
A positive outcome

Flashes of negativity
Blind her eye sight
No need to flash
Images suffocate
Her burdened mind

Bringing a converybelt
Of the past present and future
Shopping is never easy
When the line is formed
With ghosts
That keep appearing
From the closets of the past

Bashed over the head
Trying to shake off
Negatives of parallel worlds
Divided in several places

Brain in a whirlwind
Heart in a flutter
Eyes shut now
To hide
From the nutter

Lost

Unleash the hounds
Let out the dogs
Keep the chains
Held tight
Fighting for survival
Strength will and fight

Crossing over
The deserted
Time stands still
Happiness that was
Once a drug
Now silences the chill

Arms worn and restless
Feet heavy and sore
Clothing diminished
Lifeless no where
To rest

Charging through
The chalked
Thirsty ground
Firing in the distance
Exiled by the sound
Eyes slowly fall
Hunger rumbles on
Caught up in torture
No escape
Eyes fill up with water
If the ground
Could cry
It would shed tears
Nothing lives there
Only despair
Beyond repair

Stages

Leaping over obstacles
Foraging for life
Standing still
Ripped apart
Playing a role
Playing a part

Offer of branches
Applaud the dusted ground
Weaving a pathway
Shackling the almighty sound

Craving burdens
Lifting souls
Heartless offerings
Harnessing the vulnerable
Wanting to contain
To be in control

Pushing on
Privilege is not labelled
Into their past
Not imprinted
In their futures

Lost in a circle
Of cycle
Calm the noise
Compose compromise

Stop the Phrase

Stop the lines
Stop the dialogue
Stop the characters
Story form
In a circled mind

Creative avenues
Cultured by muse
Forming an alliance
Set in to confuse

Structure and form
Scenes and shots
Faze in and out
Room is hot

Will she or won't she
Questions fill the mind
They are on offer
